Child Study Team

Welcome to Child Study

My name is Maria Lucibello. I am the Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDT-C) on the Elementary Child Study Team. My office is at the Maugham Elementary School, however I do rotate to the different elementary schools. I can be reached at Maugham by calling 201.816.7705 X7215.   I can also be reached by E-mail at mlucibello@tenafly.k12.nj.us.

My function on the Child Study Team is to assess the educational impact that a student's disability may have on his or her ability to be successful in the general education classroom. I will assess the student's reading, writing, math and oral language in order to determine if there is an educational/academic impact on the student. I also function as the Case Manager for the Special Education students at Maugham Elementary.

Please feel free to contact me at your convenience if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Mrs. Maria Lucibello

My name is Maria Lucibello and I have been a member of the Elementary Tenafly Child Study Team for 9 years as a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant. Along with completing the Educational testing at Maugham, Smith and occassionally the other two district elementary schools, I case manage the students at Maugham Elementary School.   Prior to serving in this position, I was a Fifth and Sixth Grade Elementary School teacher.  I firmly believe that every student, with the correct intervention, should be capable of reaching their truest potential leading to success in school.   I also believe in the development of the whole child adressing the social, emotional and educational well-being of each student.
