ABOUT MRS HERBST

I have been the Library Media Specialist at Maugham School since 2008 and I think that I have the best job in the world!  I'm also a Tenafly Tiger graduate.  Before coming to Maugham, I was a French teacher and also worked in the corporate world.  My undergraduate and graduate degrees are in French and I also have a School Library Media Certification.    I love introducing kids to books and authors and I enjoy working with students using various technologies.   My husband and I have a daughter who is 17 and a son who is 14.  They are now both taller than me.   When I'm not reading a book, I enjoy cooking and baking new recipes, photography, traveling and spin classes.   I always love visiting other libraries too!  It is my hope that all who enter the Maugham School Library will find both a good book and a pleasant experience.
